Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
I had a miscarriage in early March and started LE diet then. I started TTC in June, got pregnant in September, miscarried again. I TTC again in December with my first post-miscarriage cycle and got my BFP. I was on the diet for 9 months since I hadn’t fully resumed a normal diet again before my miscarriage and I immediately went back on LE at that time.

Yes, every day.

DId you consume alcohol?
Yes, 1-2 servings of beer or mixed drinks (vodka) nightly.
DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I drank 12 oz of coffee daily and 24 oz of Diet Dr. Pepper daily.
Any Diet Details?
I followed LE Diet at 1200-1500 calories per day, 40 grams of fat and protein per day. I significantly reduced my meat intake to 1-2 oz max at dinner some days and focused on protein and fat from dairy products instead. I also ate two 2 oz servings of smoked salmon per week. I skipped breakfast every day and ate mostly soups, salads, veggies, fruits, cheese, yogurt, and pasta for lunch and dinner. I rarely had dessert, but if I did, it was a small dish of ice cream. I never ate before noon, only having coffee or bouillon until lunch. I stopped eating by 8 pm.

I weighed 150 lb when I started LE in March and weighed 135 when I conceived at Christmas.

How many BD attempts did you make for the BFP cycle?
Probably 2, but unsure. We had two attempts in a 6-hour period at first positive OPK. We had another attempt 26 hours after the last, because OPK was still positive that day. Cervix had fully changed over to low, firm, and closed by then, so it was likely too late to matter.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I was on the diet a long time and didn’t have to think about what I could and couldn’t eat to stay within limits. DH and I are also both 40+.
