Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
Went from A1C of 5.2 before diet changes down to 4.9 right after conceiving. I believe this was due to the alternate diet.

If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
I did LE for almost a year before ttc, but I wasn’t losing any weight. I switched over to the alternate LE diet during the 5 months we actively ttc and started to see progress.

Did you skip breakfast regularly?
About 75% of the time. I work 12 hr shifts starting at 5am (wake up at 3:30) and sometimes I needed food to sustain myself that early. This is where most of my exercise comes in as I walk 15k+ steps a day on my work days.

Did DH change his diet with you?
No, but he went Keto a few weeks before we conceived.

Comments regarding DH's diet-
Naturally slim, would eat whatever he wanted (before going keto)

Did you consume alcohol?
Yes, 2 drinks almost every evening.

Did you try to limit caffeine?
No, I had coffee daily and 1 Diet Coke every afternoon.

Any Diet Details?
I cut out sugars and switched to diet soda. Cut out red meat and eggs. Besides coffee, I would fast until about 11-noon most days. Tried to eat low carb and switched to lower fat foods. I’m petite and had to go down to about 1300 calories to see weight loss.

Once I switched to the alternate diet, I started to see progress and went from 123lbs to 113lbs over a few months. I had Covid in July and lost the last few lbs during that time (conceived in August).

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
One attempt, A1C lowered by diet, Dh smoking occasionally, cycle went from 34 days to about 28 days after a few cycles on the alternate diet.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Couldn’t always stick to skipping breakfast, went off diet a bit while on vacation in July, not huge on exercise on my off-work days.
