Ignore her, it is definitely worth it! They are learning, and enjoy it, and you will foster their love of reading. I read to DS from day 1, and he loves to read together and on his own now at 3.5.

My DS has a few quirks like that too, but I read that it's normal at that age, 2 or3, that they are trying to "put order" to things.

I still read before bed most nights. I love reading, I read about 100 books a year. But I will forgo other things like watching TV and laundry to read :)
