Exactly 3 years between ds1 and ds2 (had 2miscarriages) and this time exactly 2 years apart (it happened a bit sooner than we expected!!)

Yes, I immediately thought about swaying for dc3 after we found out ds2 was a boy at the 20 week scan. Luckily my dh was on board with it and here we are half way...

I'd say a sling to carry baby in. When they are small, they are so light and they love being carried around, often is good to use in tandem with pushchair when they get fed up with lying on their own...
