Pain in left ovary area

I am 4 weeks pregnant and I am getting sharp pains like Ovulation pain in my left ovary area, what is this?? I have been told that it is strong cantractions that is bringing the egg down into the womb, but would it not be there already??

Round ligament pain would be my guess? I had them very bad in my pregnancies even that early. Really sharp pain, it would really scare me.

I agree with with ThroughWithBlue, round ligament pain.. because it can't be the egg moving anywhere. It has to implant in order for you to get a BFP.
