    LR And Being Overweight....

What's considered Overweight? I read that DH shouldnt take LR if he's overweight and I'm a lil concerned about DH. He's not really overweight, he just has a lil tummy. He's about 220 lbs... Should he not take LR?

The problem with licorice root is that it can cause high blood pressure (and this is NOT speculation, this is 100% proven.) So it's not that being a certain weight makes licorice root dangerous, it's that men who are overweight tend to have higher blood pressure to begin with and so licorice root is extra risky for them. I can't SAY a weight because even thin guys can have high blood pressure. The issue is the blood pressure, not the weight per se, it's just that weight and HBP tend to be correlated.

How tall is he?? If he's 6-8 and in good health, the LR is ~probably~ fine. If he's 5-8, even in good health, I wouldn't take the risk. If a guy was on the thin side with HBP, I also wouldn't take the risk.

DH is about 5-7 5-8... Is there anything else he could do instead of the LR?

He can try peppermint tea. The downside of pep tea is that it may lower estrogen as it lowers testosterone. I would also feed him some soy foods.

Is that risky for swaying pink? Would he be better off not taking anything then? Hes drinking crystal light, cranberry and diet which he never did before so will that help out a lil bit?

We don't know, 4 blues. No way to know without blind side by side studies and those studies haven't been done.

Crystal Light and cranberry will lower his pH but won't do anything for his T and E levels. Diet ~may~ help a bit (giving up meat esp. red meat, eggs, and fish, and eating more soy) but again, I honestly don't know how much or how effective it will be.
