I have heard that Olive Leaf extract (taken by DH) can help get more XX embies in HT cycles. I've even heard for DW to take it...
Anyone have any info if this would help us swayers? I can't find anything on Google to support this, but there is a girl on our HT forums that just announced her gender split on her embies- 2 XY and 5 XX. Her DH took olive leaf.

Yes, I've heard of it before and there was a doctor on here for a brief time who was a big believer in it. I personally feel like it's too great an unknown and I don't like anyone taking things that I don't somewhat understand their mechanism of action without having seen firsthand several people getting girls while taking it while SWAYING, not HT - because results in vitro, with HT may not translate into in vivo conditions with swaying (and I'd rather have IG or some other sites taking that chance first rather than you ladies!!)
The prob. with olive leaf is it's a very effective antioxidant and has quite a bit of nutrients in it (more antioxidants than green tea and a lot of Vit. C which can increase CM). Plus, it improves blood flow which may help improve fertility overall.
Olive leaf does seem to lower LDL cholesterol and could possibly lower testosterone, but at the same time, this could lead to either a drop in estrogen (bad for DH) or a rise in estrogen (bad for DW)
If you do want to give it a try, by all means do so and keep us updated on what it does for you, but I would limit it to DH taking it and not DW.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I miss Babydoctor. It sounds like she had some promising research going on!
Thank you for sharing that thread. I was looking for something that might be a little bit safer than licorice root. I understand that it increases overall cell health, though.03

Thanks for the info guys. The Dr. in the link sure seemed to hint at something big but she never was able to tell us the whole story... Wonder what she meant by enzymes.
I may try to get DH to take it, he is not taking anything else at the mo and due to his age prob needs antioxidants. It is kind of an unknown, but since we haven't got Pg in 3 mos of trying, I think we're not super fertile anymore.Mom to 3 wonderful boyswaiting for our

I think it is really interesting and somewhat compelling. Very cool that you posted about it, myGirl.
