Hello All!
I'm new to this board and very appreciative of all the information and supportive environment you have here on GenderDreamingI've been spending endless hours trying to read everything I possibly can to figure out how to sway blue after having three sweet little girls! I am the picture perfect example of what a girl sway looks like... probably 2-3 times the recommended amount of calcium daily, eat hardly any meat or salt, exercise like crazy, etc. It makes a lot of sense now! I started my boy diet and supplements last week and am planning to start TTC at the end of August.
One thing I'm wondering though... have any of you told anyone (other than DH) that you are swaying??? I haven't told a soul and don't even know if I want to fess up to my doctor. But I'm sure he'll wonder when he asks what meds I'm taking and I have a nice long list of supplementsI just don't think anyone else would understand (but of course all of you ladies!).

Welcome Soontobesix! STBS, for short, perhaps?!? Join us on the monthly blue thread in TTC boy; it's a sticky, it's something like If you want Blue this is the thread for you ... anyhow, it is a great thread for general support as well as specific answers to your boy-sway questions.
I haven't told anyone about my sway ... DH isn't into the idea of it. So it's just little ol me and my cyber friends hereI mean DH does know that I changed my diet, vitamins, etc. It isn't like I kept him in the dark on it, he just wasn't going along and doing whatever it is DH's who sway do.
Anyhow, I just don't want anyone to think if we have a 3rd DD (I have 2 and am swaying boy) that I will be upset with that. The truth is I will, of course, or I wouldn't sway... but it won't be extreme and I'll get over it fast, and I'll pray long and hard for some grandsons. But people have looooong memories, and I'd just hate for people to see her ten years from now and ever think her parents somehow didn't think the world of her, KWIM?
Good luck to you!

Dh isnt into the whole swaying thing and doent want to change his diet. He is aware that i have changed mine and that im taking sups. I havent told anyone else just incase we have another boy i would hate people to think i would love the baby less if it was a boy. Good luck with your sway

my DH told my mum (to my annoyance as I hadn't wanted anyone else to know) because he wanted her to tell me how stupid I was because of how unhealthy the girl diet is, but actually she was really supportive and that surprised me!

My mother in law and Best mate know. I think DH has told a few of his pals as they noticed he had stopped drinking beer and coffee!! Apart from my mother who I don't want to know I am TTC period (thinks three is enough) I will tell whoever asked about it. I do not feel ashamed or wrong for wanting to try for a girl. People can be cruel though so I understand why people keep it to themselves.

Hi and welcome!!! I haven't told anyone else but dh for the very reasons other people have said. It is really hard to keep a massive change of diet in secret though!! Good luck!

Only DH knows...I don't want to deal w/other people's comments as all of this is hard enough and sometimes puts me in a fragile state. DH is really sweet and supportive and he'll take any sups or do anything I ask him to do...even abstain. He's my rock!
Best of luck to you, STB6!Jen+ DH
