So I'm out again this month
We cut pretty much every sway aspect except diet out this month, we had 6 DTD just before and right on ov.
Im taking a break for a cycle, I need it, and DH needs it...but i want to have some sort of plan for my next sway, I'm hoping that might help me find some renewed strength and hope - coz nothing else is working and no amount of pep talking is helping me
How should i sway??
My sway has been (brackets show number of months)
-Vegetarian LE (6)
- Vitex (5)
- Zrytec (5)
- Cranberry (4)
- LR for DH (5)
- FR for DH (5)
- Hot baths for DH (4)
- Peppermint Tea (6)
We've been cutting things out as the months dragged on, last month we had no sway except diet, and STILL failed.
So wehre to from here? There is nothing left to cut out.
What parts do i keep?
What don't i keep?
Right now I'm feeling as lost as i did when i FIRST discovered swaying.
-Diet i will keep.
-What about Vitex? Is there a benefit to keeping it? Or is there a benefit to switching to soy? (i don't seem to have any issues with ovulation)
- DH will take LR again if i ask, should we? It didn't affect his performance, he just wanted to stop to rule out that its a hinderance. OR should we give this olive leaf thing a try???
- peppermint tea - its been my rock! Keep it?
- Aspartame - I know extended use in not recommended..should i keep it up for a bit longer? The diet drinks really help me on the LE diet because they help the hinger and snack cravings. What exactly does aspartame do from a sway aspect..
Please help me ladies, i really need some guidance....I thought it would be easy just to 'turn off' and turn my back on TTC for a bit, but i can't, i need to plan what i am going to do next otherwise i have no light at the end of the tunnel

First of all, please don't despair - really until last month, you were doing a strict sway so you almost have to look at it as, you've only tried one month really. It's very possible for a couple to do everything right and simply not get pg one month or the other.
1)Def. keep diet if nothing else. You may want to up your folic acid and add in a 18 mg iron daily and 8-15 mg zinc 3 times a week in order to ensure you're not completely depleted.
2)Since vitex isn't working, I'd try soy this next go-round. Several of us have needed to drop the vitex to get pg.
3)DH needs a break from the LR so I think it's best to leave it out. I am not into the olive leaf until I've seen several people use it or seen an actual study published for independent review.
4)Pep tea is at your discretion - you also have the option of reducing the amount you're using.
5)Aspartame lowers pH. Can you give yourself a break from it during yoru month off? It does you no good until you're actually TTC.
Would you add in Preseed or Robi/Muci??!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks atomic
trying so hard to keep my chin up, just didn't envisage it would take this long, but your words do give me comfort so thank you!
Yes I would try the preseed or robi/muci, what do these do? And how much do I have?
Will drop the vitex, with regards to soy, will it help do you think? I thought it was mainly to help with ovulation? I *think* I'm ovulating ok, just not fertilising/implanting. Or will the soy just by its very nature help with the pink sway?
I will add the iron and zinc, I do feel like my body is very depleted.
Will give the aspartame a miss whilst I am on a month off, I think I might keep it for now as its the only ph reducer in my sway?

1)Preseed is a sperm-friendly lube that will help sperm survive while in your vagina, and Robitussin/Mucinex help your body to make more EWCM and also fluids up inside your uterus and Fallopian tubes that can help sperm make it to the egg, and then in turn help the egg make it to the uterus. Both are believed to sway blue, but if you can't get pg you have no chance at your DG.

Yes, the soy can help even if you're ovulating on your own. Similarly to how Clomid seems to help people get pregnant, even though they're already ovulating (we don't know why this is.) I would def. give the LR a boot the next time you sway. While it's not hurting his performance, it could really be crippling his sperm enough to be unable to do their job.
I agree with AS about dropping the fake sugar on your off cycle, and then picking it back when you try. I'd def. stay away from Vitex again, and try the soy.
I would keep diet, but make sure you stay in the limits, or maybe the upper limits of the diet to make sure you are still ovulating.

I've been mulling over this over and over!
Does anyone know if many girls have succeeded to successfully have girls using diet alone as the sway tactic??
Because essentially that will be the only 'part' of the whole TTC for us that will be girl friendly...I want to get pregnant, but i want to do it with as much 'girl' swaying as i can without hindering my ability to get pregnant IYKWIM...but i guess thats a self defeating statement isn't it?
I suppose i just feel like diet alone won't be enough ? Whats everyone's thoughts one this?
Forgot to mention that refresh was another thing that i have dropped last month.
I also had the max dose of calc/mag and cranberry for the first 2 months of my sway - I'm guessing nothing has changed there and it still better NOT to reintroduce these?
Im thinking maybe the way to go for our next attempt is super strong vegetarian LE for 6 weeks. Folate, Iron and Zinc.
But leave the pressed and robi/muci for another month - maybe give it one last girly shot before introducing 'boy' sway aspects to hurry up pregnancy?
Im still tossing up with the soy - sitting on the fence and can't decideMummy to DS10 who is the light of our world

Hi Lassie
I just wanted to jump in and say when I had my two girls I didn't know what swaying was at the time but I definitely fit the girl lifestyle. I was a permanent LE Diet person, that is just how I ate normally, we didn't use and douches or lubes or anything like that so in my opinion I think diet alone can work. If you are someone who gets a lot of ewcm then I would definitely try the zyrtec I think it is or maybe its sudafed to dry it up a little, I never had a lot of ewcm when I conceived my girls. Hope this helps and I wish you all the best

Lassie, didn't Atomic get her DD with diet alone? Well, she did have some bad stress too, but that's a sway factor we have no control over. I think the diet alone is a great idea, it's the #1 thing that sways. You can start adding in the stuff that increases fertility little by little, but hopefully you won't have to... maybe a break is all you need.

Don't add back in cal and mag. I'm seeing too many failed blue sways in people that refuse to include dairy and are doing everything else "right" to TTC a boy.
Yes, I did really nothing other than diet. I didn't even jump and dump.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I really didn't do much other than the diet either, since my hands were tied about DH, he couldn't FR, or abstain, and I just changed my diet as best i could (Not even super strict either) and it still worked for me. I think we don't always have to go "whole hog" to get our bodies to notice a difference, iykwim?
