I'm thinking about trying again, never really stopped trying, but haven't really tried either in awhile.I tried getting pg with#3 for years and just haven't been able to.I also belong to another site, but stopped going there over the years cause it just got too hard to deal with.I'm not sure what I'm doing yet
but I figured I can give myself at least til I'm 40 to keep trying, I am 36 and a half
I have 2 boys and was hoping to have a girl, I love my boys dearly, but still have trouble knowing that I may never have a daughter.Hope I get to meet some great people here like I did on the other site. <3

Hi, hoping-n-praying!
I have a boy and I'm currently pregnant with ds2. I got pregnant with ds1 very easily at 35 but when we tried for baby #2 three years later, I suffered two miscarriages. The next year I had a molar pregnancy and was forbidden to try for a baby for a whole year. Doctors said that it had nothing to do with age, that both dh and I were healthy and that it was just bad luck.
I got pregnant again beginning of this year, at 41, and I'm well into the fifth month and everything seems to be okay. The amnio confirmed the baby is perfectly healthy.
I swayed pink and it's a boy, which sort of doused the happiness in me for a while, but now I'm happy that it's a healthy baby who chose us as a family when we had already given up hope thinking we were too old. I want to add that I am an In-gender opposite, so my next sway will be 100% Genderdreaming, 100% Atomic.
I'll be trying again beginning of 2014 so imagine my age then! But I still don't give up hope to see pink and I'm willing to try even if some people want to make me feel like I'm too old.
I married at 28 (dh is eight months older) and chose to be an aged mother because DH and I preferred to live our youth, travel, study and only settle for a family when we felt ready for it. Every time I look back I feel no regrets because I know I did all I ever wanted to do before having children. Some young people are left with the feeling that something is missing in their lives due to having had a family too soon.
So no, you're not too old and yes, this time it might be a daughter. But bear in mind that in all sites with any methods there are opposites, so if you want to get pregnant, it could still be a boy. I've had a hard time accepting that the baby I'm expecting is yet another boy when all I long for is to splurge a fortune in Hello Kitty toys, but now I've come to terms with it and can hardly wait to have him delivered well and healthy.
You'll find a lot of congenial people here. I think this site is great.
Wish you a lot of luck with your sway and hope you see pink!! Many girls here are welcoming pink bundles of joy after two, sometimes three boys. So who knows!
