TTC Girl - Using Rephresh with O+12 Attempt!!

    Hi All

This is my first post so apologies in advanced for TMI!!!! I am planning on TTC a girl in October this year and have already bought a pile of supps as was firstly on the IG site before discovering this one. I havent started taking any supps as yet but plan to start using vitex next month as I have low pre temps and my cycles range from 25-28 days.

I decided to try out some replens last Sunday just before I ovulated and used the whole tube - I have since seen that you shouldnt do this which I can understand as I have had lots of clumpy discharge since when testing ph - TMI sorry!!! Also the replens bought my ph down the first day and then the second day I tested in the morning it was 5.32 before going back to 4.02 later on in the day!

My question is I know rephresh is best used with cut off but can I use with O+12? I conceived my son on honeymoon doing lots of FR BD everyday so want to do the opposite this time, I also know from using the digital OPKS when I will O so could I do the rephresh when I get my first +OPK and leave it to work its magic!! I will be testing this before hand to make sure it works for me.

Also with replens/rephresh should I use from day after AF or just check my ph when I get my first +OPK and decide from there?

The clumpy discharge is normal when you first start to use the jellies. No worries on that.

pH of 5.3, esp. at ovulation, is fine for TTC a girl. Please don't stress or worry about the difference in pH between 4 and 5.3, they both sway pink.

If you want to use RepHresh with O+12, that's a great way to do it. Use the RepHresh before bed on the day you get your OPK, then wait 48 hours after your first pos OPK and then have your attempt (that's the easiest way to do O+12).

With any jelly, it can be best to use it every 3 days starting after AF through your attempt...that way your body doesn't freak out going "WTH is this stuff" right at ovulation and try to wash it away with a bunch of CM.

Can it also be used as a lube for a true O+12 attempt?

You're welcome to try it Jadis, but I think that it will make it tough to get pg.
