Hi,

I've come across this forum as my husband and I would really like a girl to complete our family. We have two little boys aged 4 and 2, who we love dearly, and I would never be disappointed with another boy, but I'd love to do the girly things, have a mother-daughter relationship and most importantly, give my husband a princess he can dote on

I currently have a copper coil in and went on Wednesday to the doctors hoping to have it out, but have been told I have to wait until the 8th August to have it done - it feels like ages away and I'm not sure if it means pushing back the baby making for another month so have emailed explaining I'm desperate for it to be out and to contact me if there are any cancellations. Fingers crossed.

I'm going to try the LE diet (I could stand to lose about 10lb so hopefully it'll help that department too!) and abstaining until ovulation day and the day after. I don't know whether hubby should be DIYing it though to keep sperm count down, I'm a bit confused about all the different options.

Anyway, I really do hope this works as we certainly can't have any more children but here goes - we are officially swaying for a girl!

The main thing hubby is wanting to know is if he can be sorting himself out or has to abstain before ovulation?
