We have 3 boys and just decided to try for a girl a couple of weeks ago. I am on CD 6, have 24 or 25 day cycles, so I used Rephresh today. Do you think this sway will be enough?

I will use Rephresh every 3 days, BD til positive OPK then stop. I eat Oikos Greek yogurt twice a day, pbj for lunch and normal dinner. I am drinking CL and diet coke and am taking one cransberry plus vitamin c supp a day. I just ordered the ph strips from amazon, so they should arrive on the 16th, which should be CD 10, pretty close to O.

I've never had luck with OPKs before, so I am not sure how well that will work, so I am putting a lot of faith in the rephresh. Is that enough do you think? Is the diet OK? Any insight will be great as this is definitely our last baby. Plus I am almost 40 so I want to try to get preggo sooner rather than later, so I don't want to mess with timing the O+12.

totally with dropping timing.

Your diet is not ideal, but people get girls all the time eating diets that are not perfect. (we don't even KNOW what perfect is, anyway.) I would have you drop the peanut butter and go fully vegetarian at the least, but I would not postpone an attempt this month for that reason, given your age. I also recommend dropping the cran/Vit. It depends on how far from attempt you are. If you want to use a full applicator, which is def. easiest, then use it no sooner than 8-12 hours before your attempt and 24 may be better. if using just a fingertip, you can use it 1-2 hours before attempt but it may not be as effective as using more is.

Thank you so much! I did drop the cran as I was getting weirded out by it and worrying that I would mess things up and take it after O...

I did the full applicator of Rephresh on Friday, then half on Monday, then a fingertip after dtd yesterday. I think I will O today since I got a dark line on the OPK yesterday and today, possibly yesterday on the upswing and today on the downswing? I'm not sure. We dtd yesterday since my PH was still looking good, and it still looks good today too, so we'll see.
