Interesting read! I definitely agree w/ the sharing issue. Kids younger than 5 have a very difficult time sharing but can easily adapt to turn-taking. I remember a teacher I know who owned a preschool and was a special education teacher for kids 3 and under told me that it is impossible for kids of that age to share and it was an unrealistic expectation but turn taking was more reasonable. I found that turn-taking worked with my kids and was actually much easier for them to understand. Although sharing is similar, it has very different characteristics. Sharing a toy is very difficult even for adults! Imagine trying to share your cell phone or lap top w/ another person? Very difficult! But taking turns w/ your phone or computer? Much easier.
