Im totally and completely NEW here, so I really have no idea if I am posting in the right (or wrong) place.
I was just wondering though, mommies with kids of BOTH genders, did you experience different symptoms (per gender) during your pregnancy?
For example I have two little boys, and got so incredibly sick both times I was pregnant with them. This pregnancy I have (knock on wood and keeping my fingers crossed) not gotten sick/vomited!!!
Obviously, I am hoping for a girl this time around...but only time will tell...
Experiences??
Also I have had two early ultrasounds (one at 6w1d and the second at 7w1d). Both times the doctor was unable to confirm where the placenta was attached. They both told me that at this time the placenta was everywhere?!?! I have another scan at 12w1d, would that be too late to use the Ramzi method? I have the pic of the 7w1d pic if anyone wants to see it. lol.
Thanks in advance!!

Question about pregnancies!!

Hi, I am on pregnancy #4, and I don't think symptoms mean that much. My 2nd pregnancy (boy) was so different from my first (girl) and then my 3rd was just like my second, so I assumed it was another boy--nope, girl #2. For me, I have gotten sick longer each time (first preg just 3 weeks or so, 2nd was about 12 weeks, 3rd was 14 weeks, this time 16 weeks), regardless of gender.

From what I have heard, if you have morning sickness with your first then you are more likely to get it with each subsequent pregnancy. I am hoping and praying I dont get sick this time around. im in my mid 8th week, so i know i still have some time to get sick, but my doctor had told me that i should have already been sick for a while now. Well just have to see i guess!

Pregnancies 1&2 SICK AS A DOG..strong nauseous feeling from stomach to my throat. It got worse at night. Eating didn't help, and I couldn't keep much down.
This pregnancy.... mild unpleasant nausea described as a sick pit in my stomach. I have metal mouth, and it doesn't help..but it's NOTHING compared to what I've gone through. It's definitely different, gets a little worse at night and eating makes me feel better. I've had one bout of dry heaving and nausea from my stomach to my throat.
*Knocks on wood* That it stays this way!Last edited by Butterfly Spirit; July 6th, 2012 at 09:26 PM.

I'm ok now as long as I keep on top of taking my Zofran. Weeks 6-13 were horrific though. Had to get IV fluids.
Although I know hyperemesis can be way worse so I guess I'm lucky in that regard!and
coming end of November!

My symptoms did not seem to be related to gender at all. But I also had taken fertility meds.
