    lost control today :(

Today is my oldest's Birthday and we made cupcakes. I just lost it with them I ate the batter, a cupcake, and I don't even know how much for the whipped cream cheese frosting. I don't know what got into me.. I am so upset with myself. I feel like I am starting to cheat a little more here and there and It's going to ruin everything I have been doing the pas couple of months. I keep telling myself I will get back on track. I need some motivation!

Navywife, I think Atomic would tell you that a cheat every now and then is permitted as long as you don't go to extremes. Guess it's only fair that you celebrated a little with your son on his birthday! Don't lose faith, we're all in the same boat here! I'm always thinking of the foods I want to eat as soon as I'm pregnant...I'm always telling myself...this diet is only for a few months! well at least hopefully! Yesterday I really wanted to eat something sweet and simply couldn't resist it. Then I decided to make poached pears...very easy to do, you put some water in a pan, I added just 2teaspoons of sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a teaspoon of ground cloves. Then put the peeled whole pears into the pan and boil until they become tender, (about 10/15mins). Eat warm with a spoon of light custard. It's nothing special, but at least it's fruit and not too much sugar added, plus very easy to do. I enjoyed every little bit of it without feeling guilty!

Thank you for the encouragement dreaming! I really appreciate it!! Even though I did cheat i have still have stayed within my limits which is ok, I am a little over a sodium. But way under on protein. So I will just have something small for dinner.I will not eat dinner with the rest of my family. I just made a big jug of crystal light to get me through the rest of this evening. When is your first attempt? Ours will be the end of september.

Had my first attempt this July but did a cutoff of 4 days as it was the first time, my ovulation was 2 days late and I ended up with a 6days cutoff!! So it was obvious I was not gonna get pregnant. So I consider that attempt as if I didn't try at all. Now I'm gonna do my attempt this month. I'm on CD 8 today, and we'll be trying from next Sunday, which will be CD12, dtd also on CD13 and perhaps on CD14, depending on my ovulation whether it's late or not. Wish I could get pregnant soon. I got pregnant with my son with first attempt, so this would be my first real disappointment if I don't get pregnant. Did you get pregnant soon with your sons?

Have you thought about not doing a cutoff? I think I am going to do one attempt when I get my 1st positive ovulation test. I got pregnant fairly easy with my boys. I didn't track or anything. I just was like whatever happens happens. This is my first time actually paying attention to my cycle and knowing when I ovulate!

Yes thought about that too, I think I'll just do a cutoff this cycle, then if I don't get pg, we'll do it as soon as I get positive OPK. I did the same with my son, I mean we just dtd every other day when I felt ovulation was near, but at the time I used to have lots of EWCM so I would know when ovulation was with that. Now I'm temping of FF but on charts you get to know when you ovulated after ovulation has occurred, so I've been using opks for 2 or 3 cylces now, to get used to how they work. I usually get a positive opk on the day of ovulation as the day after, I get my temp shift. Are you doing abstaining?

With both of my boys we pretty much DTD every other day. I think that is a key thing how we got our boys. Along with our eating lifestyle. I have also been using OPk's that last few cycles, it crazy that I am actually paying attention and can feel my body getting ready to ovulate. We are actually doing FR and I plan on the day of our attempt for my DH is FR in the morning then DTD on the "2nd batch"

That sounds good Navy..we're doing 7 days abstaining, then dtd on CD12, then make DH release on CD13 twice during the day and dtd again in the evening, so we'll have an abstain for the first attempt and compressed FR for the second attempt. Hope that will be enough to reduce sperm count. When I had my son I was also eating lots of fatty foods, actually everything that I wanted, I ate!

That sounds great! Hoping this next attempt is your girl!!! Yes with boy of my boys we ate out A LOT and ate lots of bad foods. My diet is a complete 180 now and I am at my lowest adult weight. Still want to lose about 8 more pounds. Hopefully I can get really strict here and do it by the end of september!
