Hi there!
My DH and I have been ttc for 11 months after a vasectomy reversal in June 2012. His count is really low, and the doctor suggested he try clomid. Has any one else had experience with the man taking clomid? Does it have the same tendency to sway pink as it does with women? We had two boys before the original vasectomy, so I don't understand why he has low testosterone now, but the tests don't lie, right?
Thanks for any thoughts on this!

No, I do not believe it to sway pink like it does for women. Reason being, in men, it lowers estrogen and raises testosterone, which overall should sway blue (but keep in mind we do not have data for DH taking Clomid). The fact is though, that if you've been TTC for 11 months and he has a super low count, it doesn't matter if something sways pink, blue, or plaid, he needs to give it a try because if you don't get pg, you have no chance of a girl.
There is a lady on here whose husband is also on Clomid for low count and she has all girls (I'm not sure if her husband was on the Clomid when they got the girls).!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

No--we've just begun exploring the reasons for the infertility. Any recommendations beyond the clomid? With every month that goes by, I see our chances getting slimmer and slimmer, which makes me pretty sad!

Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply. It is amazing how trying for so long lessens the specific gender desire so drastically! I am so curious to see if the clomid will do anything for him--hard to imagine it can work drastically enough to make a difference, but miracles do happen! Thanks again.

In the here and now I would give it a few months with just the Clomid. The Clomid is pretty darn good at what it does, and the other things that may help, could potentially sway blue - we want to do just enough to get pg without doing too much, if that makes sense.
