    I think BFN :(

Last month I tried but of coure no luck - we only made one attempt on pos OPK.

    Attempt this go round:

DH: FR because of his age & LR
Me: Vitex & SP from AF - a few days before pos OPK (have to stop it bc the month before it took 2 weeks to come), LE diet, no gym

We DTD (on the 21st) when I saw a double line on OPK, but one line was a shade darker. We DTD (on the 22nd) the following night as well this time both lines were dark. My OPK stick had two double lines that were dark for the next two days as well. I think I may have Oed on Friday the 24th? Don't know I just felt some mild cramping?? at 8dpo I am spotting brown blood, but last month I did that as well for a few days and on the 4th day AF showed. So I think that may be the case this time too UGH!! Took a pregnancy test although still early, but of course a BFN. Due to Vitex and Sp it has made my AF show up later than usual. I used to have a 28 day cycle but it's been out of whack.
Feeling discourage trying to decided if I should try for next month. Sadly on Thursday night's dinner through Saturday I fell off the diet wagon ate meat, and lots of extras...

Can you please clarify what you mean when you say AF is showing up later? How many days are between ovulation and AF?? If you're having more than 14 days between your pos OPK and AF, you may be Oing later than you think even WITH a pos OPK and you just missed the egg this month. (it doesn't sound like that's the case, just making sure.) Oing late can be good for pink, so don't worry about the longer cycle.

You should DEF. try next month. Don't worry about the cheating, just regroup and move on.

    Hi AS-

So I just calculated correctly (I'm an English major, so forgive me- my math brain doesn't work!) I had a 26 day cycle from
August - September and I think ovulated on day 15-16? I had a double positive line beginning on the 14-16, however, on 16th I felt minor cramping in the morning?? I probably should take temps, but for life of me can't find basal thermometer. The July-August I didn't ovulate till day 19-21, but I also stayed on Vitex and SP, now I limit myself to only taking 6 days worth of dosage so I will ovulate in a timely manner. If you were me when would you begin DTD?

I am not having my husband take LR this cycle. He FR's and 42, so maybe overkill with LR?? What do you think?

Thank you!!! I'm making it happen this round :-)

The cramping is meaningless, you can have cramping before, during, and after ovulation.

So in Aug/Sept you had a 10/11 day LP, which is not ideal but is ok for getting pg. The problem is that your cycle can be different every month so we can;t go off that.

I'm not sure if 6 days of vitex and SP will get you anything. It can't hurt but I'm not sure that's enough time to accomplish anything.

I would DTD beginning when I had a positive OPK and try to get in 3-5 attempts. If you get a fade in pattern you may want to try to sneak in an attempt or two before pos OPK.

I would def drop SP for a 42 year old.
