Has anyone had this before?
I hadn't heard of it before today and I've DEFINITELY never had it before. In fact, I can count how many times I've gotten sick (to the point of vomiting) on one hand (excluding pregnancy).
So yesterday we made an attempt to get pregnant and today I was definitely Oing. It was like my entire uterus was trying to make an egg, and then later in the day both of my ovaries felt like they were passing golfballs. I've never really felt O before.
But before that, I was laying down with my son and felt suddenly nausea, which I ignored at first. but then another 30 seconds later, I realized . . . I am most CERTAINLY going to get sick.
I went to the bathroom and did indeed vomit a few times. Felt fine afterward. The whole time I'm thinking, wow, my husband is going to think I've developed a sudden eating disorder (because remember, I never get sick like that). So he hears me and he says, "Are you puking?" And I'm like "Uh, yeah."
So he makes a joke that he has super sperm and I'm already pregnant and I have to explain to him that, no, it's not morning sickness; morning sickness doesn't start until AFTER implantation which NEVER happens on the day of ovulation.
After that, I'm telling some of my TTC friends about it and I make a joke about how it must be "ovulation sickness". I wasn't being serious, but being as I got this lovely internet, I had the novel idea of googling ovulation sickness. And apparently this is a real thing! It's caused my the surge in progesterone that takes place right after ovulation.
I thought it was strange and interesting. Has anyone else here ever had that happen to them?

It could have been to do with the clomid, you might have ovulated a few eggs at the same time. You know there is a higher chance of twins with clomid.

Yes, this is my first cycle on Clomid.
That makes sense that it might be why I am having this when I never had it before. I think I did O more than one egg this cycle, but no way to know that for sure.

You don't even need clomid to get sick from ovulation. Ovulation can provide symptoms such as nausea, cramping, sharp pain, dizziness, headaches and extreme hunger. That's what I have read anyway! Oh and also spotting for some.
