Confused CD22 and still no positive OPK

Feeling a bit stressed as we're TTC pink and having trouble pinning down O. Last two cycles were 34 and 36 days. Today's OPK was negative as it has been all week. We've been releasing twice a day since CD18 and DH feels like he has nothing left now. Should we continue waiting or actually DTD every night just in case the OPK hasnt spotted O? Really need to conceive this month as my BMI is now 18.5 as I've lost 17lbs in two months. Thanks

Have the opks you are using worked for you in the past? I would think you will O in the next day or 2.

Are you taking Vitex? If so stop it. This happened to me this cycle and I ended up O'ing two days after I stopped Vitex.

No not taking vitex. Just doin LE diet plus antihistamine and rephresh. Last cycle I used cheaper sticks from the internet and got vague readings so bought Clearblue digital this month as I thought a smiley face would be clearer. We've released again this morning and probably planning to DTD this evening whatever the test says.

I've lost about 17lbs in 10wks and my BMI is now 18.5. I haven't really lost any weight for a week or so as I was worried I was getting too thin so upped my calories to 1800/1900 as I had been eating around 1500/1600. My weight seems to have stabilized by doing that. Do you think I may not ovuulate at all? We're going to DTD tonight even though this afternoon's OPK was negative again. Will definitely need to give up for a couple of months if we aren't successful this cycle.

I think 18.5 is low. Ask atomic but I'm pretty sure I read in another thread you can stop ovulating if it goes that low.

Well it's certainly possible to stop ovulating if your weight drops too low. It's impossible to say for sure if that's what's going on here, as BMI doesn't tell us enough - you'd need to know your bodyfat% to know if your low weight is the culprit (anywhere around 17-22% is the absolute lowest bodyfat% to have normal fertility). But, at only 18.5 that is definitely to the point where you should be concerned.

You're doing the right thing maintaining. Keep up the LE diet foods and keeping to 2-3 meals and no snacking, but definitely don't lose any weight. I'd give it 3 cycles before thinking you have to gain any though, as gaining really threatens to sway blue so you probably want to give your body a chance to regulate before going that route.

I would keep BDing, drop the other release, and yes, it's time to stop the weight loss and hold steady.

Thank you. My body fat is 27% so that is good, not too low really. I'll stick to the higher calorific intake then. I've found it tricky upping the calories without having a snack to do so as I'm normally full after my meals and also without adding protein. But I've managed it. I've stuck to the LE principles the whole time, even at AF last cycle when I treated myself to a takeaway pizza - it had low fat mozzarella and veggies on it - yum!

OK so we'll DTD once each day with no other releases right? I am charting my temps this cycle so should spot O this time around.
    Thanks again x
