    Crazy, never knew. I only liked canned peas sugar snap peas so don't eat them often since canned is bad for you and sugar snaps are expensive here

    You don't get your estrogen supply from foods you eat, you manufacture your body's supply from fats and cholesterol.

    You would have to eat a ridiculous amount of peas to have any sort of effect on your body (as in, you'd have to concentrate the active ingredients in them and they'd have to be used as a dietary supplement). Like soy isoflavones - you can't eat enough soybeans to ever equal the amount of isoflavones in the supps.. Plus, the plant estrogens don't work like real estrogen anyway.

    Peas are completely fine and allowed on LE Diet as long as you're keeping within your day's totals for protein and cals.
