I'm doing my research into Natera (formerly GSN) as I wanted to use them for my last cycle at the clinic from Hell... And low and behold, the doctor I had at BIVF has the audacity to post this quote:
Exciting Advancement in IVF/PGD
"Natera's Parental Support technology has been one of the most exciting advancements in IVF/PGD I've seen over the past 10 years. When I have a patient with recurrent pregnancy loss, advanced maternal age, repeat unexplained IVF failure - I consider Natera as an option for helping them reach their goals of having a healthy child. The depth of information that Natera's results provide allows me to help my patients make the most informed decision regarding their treatment.” -Dr. Brian Berger, Specialist in Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology; Director, South Shore Center, Boston IVF
Success Stories
This is the same doctor who when I insisted on using GSN for my PGD refused to work with GSN and insisted we use Genesis. Be warned anyone using BIVF, they are trying to force women to use Genesis when they work with Natera. It can only be assumed they are receiving some monetary kickback from Genesis. I'm just appalled that he had the nerve to quote on Natera's site. What he really should have said was: "When I have a patient with recurrent pregnancy loss, advanced maternal age, and repeated unexplained IVF failure I get super excited because I know women are desperate to have a child and by NOT using Natera there's more money in my pocket because they will keep coming back for more unsuccessful cycles at my consideration!"
I'm so glad I'm with another doctor. My new one is very compassionate, has a fantastic team, and will work with me for what I want to do advising what he feels is the best option without forcing me to work with clinics I am not comfortable with.
