So, in previous pregnancies I found out my boys were boys at 13.5 and 16 weeks. I never questioned the results or anything, they were pretty obvious about it.
This time, I am thinking of surprising my husband with the gender around his birthday (he wants to know, I have maintained I want team green, so it would be a surprise). But I will be EXACTLY 16 weeks the day I want to do it. And baby is measuring either on time or slightly small for dates. Do you think the results would be pretty accurate?
I am especially worried if I am told girl. Are things pretty clear at that stage? So you think I would be safe trusting a girl result? I am going somewhere where the tech has been doing it for 20 years, so she is pretty skilled.

Gender scan at 16 weeks...yay or nay?
A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Personally i wouldn't 100% trust a girl result until 20 weeks plus but only because i would be expecting it to be wrong, boys are pretty certain if you can see a turtle shot and i've known more people be told girl and it be wrong than the other way around BUT it would be a pretty good idea you could later get confirmed
