Update, the sonographer at the 13wk6d scan said he is about 96% certain they are both boys, but both very healthy looking and very active. I am a little sad to never have a girl but boy/boy twins are the rarest type and that is special in itself. I would share pictures but in many ways I don't want it confirmed though that may sound odd.
Adding the only photo's I got, I don't think they show a thing
I had a scan at 12+2 Babies were measuring 12+1 & 12+3, the scan was done by the high risk fetal medicine Dr and he said, do you want to know what you are having I'm pretty sure they are both boys. I'm fairly sure he was basing it on the potty shots though. Would you put much stock in this?
I am having another scan next week with a very experienced Sonographer who has a very good reputation for getting 13 week guesses correct however until then I keep having it in my head that these are boys 4 & 5!
I have been sure all along that one of them is a boy and think I saw a boyish nub on one but it was so hard to focus as I was there thinking we would have to do a CVS due to being high risk and the scan was an indepth one to check every part of both babies to see if we really needed to do the CVS luckily they came back low risk and we opted not to take the risk of the CVS as the placentas were not in optimal position.
Any thoughts? He also had a very experienced sonographer standing over his shoulder who didn't say a thing when he said I think they are both boys. I looked at him for confirmation as I exclaimed 5 boys but he didn't give me any indication that he thought that was right or wrong so I decided he must agree as surely he would have said if he thought it was wrong as I sounded so 'shocked'

I cant be of any help Im afraid but just think how awsome twins will be even if they are both boys - they will b the best of friends :-)
I hope you get your confirmation next week. I think its still very early and even the highliest trained people can get things wrong but i would like to think he wouldnt have asked if you wanted to know if he wasnt confident in giving you an accurate answer ?Mummy to 3 gorgeous Boys and FINALLY our baby Girl

It's hard to say without seeing images. He may have seen it in profile and potty shot.

I'm finding that the u/s techs are pretty familiar with nub theory these days. Not all of them hazzard a guess though. CONGRATS on your twins btw, how awesome is that?

If he was relatively new (like it sounds) then I'd take his opinion with a grain of salt. Congrats on your twins, btw

Or maybe he saved that conversation for behind closed doors? My DH wouldn't agree or disagree in a situation like that, either. He'd focus on the health of the babies and tell newbie off for speaking of other things.
Just my $2. GL!!! Twins! How awesome!!
