I really don't want to post pics as I'm scared of being told def both boys. I also don't have great shots though a good DVD which I can't get to upload
I had a scan at 13+6, twin 2 was measuring 13+5 & twin 1 was measuring 14+2
The sonographer who did it was very experienced but I still hold out hope he got twin 2 wrong.
I have a few questions though if anyone can answer them.
Twin 1 had a classic boy nub, a bump rising almost straight up clearly defined. He did have the cord between his legs for the whole scan though, this can't image as a bump though can it?
Twin 2 has a distinct nub sticking out at 13+6 would this have shrunk? When the sonographer was pointing out boy he said see this bump doesn't it look like boy but he was on a diagonal and almost a potty shot I think the nub though obvious was pointing out not up. We could clearly see the nub on the 3D looking like a little winky but I still think it wasn't angling up.
At almost 14 weeks should a girl nub be completely flat or is a little angle still ok?
I just don't know Twin 1,'s nub is so classic I have no doubts but looking through the girl confirmed pics I can see lots of nubs that look like twin 2's and have been girls. When the full nub is not imaged it looks like a flat line but when the full nub is imaged it is distinctly sticking out and a bit up but is flat on top not a bump like twin 1's.
I understand if no one wants to answer with no pics but if anyone has any thoughts I would be grateful.
This pregnancy was very unexpected, I thought I was done with my 3 boys and was happy but now there is a chance to have a girl again it's bringing back my GD.

It's really hard to say. You are fairly far along. I would have expected a potty shot to look like a girl and if the nub is still present between the legs, it would be really small and very pointy.
It is nub GUESSING. A lot of it depends on the tech knowing what they are doing and getting the right image when it comes to us.
Cord looks like 3 lines usually floating out from the body and no really attached. It isn't solid looking like a nub would be.

Chances are if the tech was experienced then he is correct about the gender. Without images though I can only speculate.

With twin A i dont think cord can be mistaken for nub, especially by am experienced tech, so its safe to say you have 1 boy. With twin B measuring 4 days behind twin A it may look the teeny tiniest bit different and it sounds like you were looking at it from a different angle, so it is hard to say. If you do get brave enough to post pics im sure we could be more helpful, but i understand if you dont want to just yet.

I have to be honest, it looks very much like a boy nub. Twins are special regardless of the gender, though, and I'm sure these little ones will be a wonderful addition to your family

Thank-you, I was hoping the fact it was flatter on top might mean more likely girl but I felt if I posted the pic I would hear boy. The other 3 boys all had quite distinct 'almost on top 'bumps at this stage so it's different to any of my boy nubs I've seen. Thank-you though.

I know they are special I just would have loved a wee girl. My sister has a terminal condition and when she passes it will be me in a sea of boys.
I love my boys very very much and would not swap one of them for anything it's just hard as these babies were never meant to be and it's sad saying goodbye to that dream again.
