Hi,
I have started the LE diet again earlier this week. We are not attempting this cycle, but were hoping to attempt next cycle.
By the time I ovulate I should have been on the diet for 5-6 weeks. But now I have just read Atomic's FAQ's on the LE Diet and have come across this, which now makes me wonder if we should postpone our attempt for another month to give me an extra 4 weeks on the diet.
What are your thoughts on this as I am really?

I would be asking myself...how much weight can I spare to lose? What was my diet like previous to the LE? How many boys do I already have? How hard is the diet for me to stick to? What other sway tactics am I using besides diet?

I have to agree with atomic. I have been watching the board for a long while now and reading sways both boy and girl. I have seen greatest success with people who are on the diet for 3 months or more, which is why I decided to start 6 months before my attempt. If you can't spare to lose anymore weight on LE then up your empty calories with white bread/pasta, sweets, milk or white chocolate, things that provide no nutritional value. And I believe the diet drinks (especially diet coke) are a big factor.
You need a fairly decent length of time to completely change your body chemistry/environment.Our 6-pack of girlies

^Thats good advice if the diet is stressful. If the diet is making you want to verbally karate chop everyone in your path and pull your hair out, it could backfire. I think stress is the ninja killer in girl sways and you could diet for a perfect 3 months but if its making life *hard* then I would say get pg asap because a cheeseburger and a peaceful mind is way better for ttc a girl than being bald and alot of enemies. Hope that makes sense!!
But its a benefit vs risk thing, so you have to look at the facts of what YOU are like fitting into the entire scheme of swaying. Thats how I see it, anyway
