Hi all! Am 35 and from London, UK. DH (37) and I are going to start TTC our first child in March/April after I finish the last of my birth control pills and would love a little girl (all boys on his side - would be lovely for a change, although not going for the 'kitchen sink' approach. More of a 'mellow yellow' approach...)

Have had a browse through the forums over the last few months - looks so exciting and can't wait to get started, but have a couple of things I had wondered about.

I have been to my doctor and said I want to start TTC soon, and has given me Pregnacare Conception to take up until I am around 3 months pregnant. These only have 400mcg per tablet, but can only take one a day. To sway pink, I should be getting at least three times that amount! I know I can get it from my food, but I'd imagine I'd need a top-up to get to that amount (correct me if I'm wrong, or should food be enough to boost it?). What's best to do/buy to suppliment this? Again, all other folic acid suppliments I've seen is for the same strength, yet can only take one per day...

And a slightly more stupid/strange question: Are there many commuters out there? I am more than a little freaked out by the thought of standing on a really packed train on the way to London to get to work and suddenly really needing to throw up. Thankfully, my journey is shorter than some, so am hoping it shouldn't be too bad, but are there any pointers as to how to deal this? I can't say I've seen sick bags selling so I can pick some up should I need one in an emergency.
