Hi everyone
I have an underactive thyroid and have had for a few years. Never had trouble conceiving in the past. I'm now 35!!! We've finally decided to try for our girl and looking to try the LE diet with custom swaying plan.
Does anyone know if this will be an issue?
Thanks x

No, and I've done several plans for people with thyroid issues. We change some of the supps around and fiddle with the diet a bit but you can still definitely sway.

I have had hypothyroidism since i was a very very young girl.
I did the LE diet with this current bump. Dont know if it's boy or girl or not, but i dont see how thyroid meds/regimine would effect your sway.I just kept taking my normal dose of thyroid and then did the LE diet. Ill let you know if my sway worked or not, however, i dont see how taking meds for thyroid would effect it since it simply puts our thyroid at a normal function level.
And if you are worried about the LE diet effecting your thyroid and messing it up, i suppose anything can happen, however, if you are taking your thyroid meds properly and such, im thinking it shouldn't have a negative effect on it. It may be an LE diet but you arn't starving yourself iykwim. You might have to change some stuff up a bit like PP mentioned, but i dont see why you couldnt sway

I have hypo/hashi's since having my first DD and went on to conceive another little girl. I don't think it's going to affect your sway at all

The thing to be aware of is that ~sometimes~ PCOS and hypo/Hashimoto's occur together, and so for ~some~ people, they can have PCOS along with their thyroid stuff and PCOS does sway blue. But as babydust illustrates, it's not always the case and thyroid in and of itself, I do not believe sways.

I'm a pink swayer and hypothyroid. I've also had RPL, and as a result I have my levels monitored very closely. I've not seen any changes in my TSH on the LE diet at all. Pregnancy/miscarriage does affect it quite a bit, though.
