What is your diet like? How much and which supplements are you taking?
I am starting a more pink friendly diet on May 1. I am hoping to eat the following:
breakfast - peppermint tea at about 7:30
snack - glass of skim milk, berries at about 9:30
lunch - toast (homemade, salt free) with butter (salt free) or egg white omelette w chz at about 11:30
supper - rice or pasta with green beans, cucumbers (more rice than pasta as I'm wary of all the additives in regular pasta), chicken once or twice a week - at about 5:00
snacks: raspberries, strawberries, yogurt, plain rice cakes
I am still nursing (an almost 2 yr old) lots and am so hungry all the time. But I have some weight to lose as I'm about 154 at 5'8.
I'm still considering what supplements to take.

im nursing my 10 month old and this is what im taking-
soy iso, vitex, cranberry, calcium, magnesium, zyrtec, and sometimes baby aspirin.
i started off doing good in the diet. i was mainly doing the ingender diet but im just eaiting more dairy now and less food. im not salting anything and staying away from big no no's. im not eating everything i use to like soups and frozen foods. i pretty much follow the diet all day and then eat whatever were having for dinner.
i try to skip breakfast but don't always do it and im drink peppermint tea. i aim for 3 times a day but my glasses are big and strong so i don't care to much if i mess once or twice.

I think you all are doing great! I've actually had a LOT of success this time losing weight while BFing eating nothing but the girl-style diet and my milk has stayed at a good level. I'm not swaying but it is just easy for me to lose weight this way.

I started the above diet yesterday. I did have a normal (ish) lunch. But I think starting slow is probably best for me. Hoping to get stricter and be on the diet fully by the time I get AF. I am taking the following supplements:
2 x calcium 600 mag 300
2 x calcuim 500
2 x cranberry 500, 36:1 (may increase this later on)
anyone have any thoughts about acidophillus?

It is much better to start slow and get stricter than to shoot for the stars and fall short. A lot of successful sways were in people who started lite and added things over time.
I like acidophilus because it keeps yeast at bay - just keep an eye on it over time, in some people it makes their pH rise but this is usually temporary.
You might want to add in some fiber supps to help flush fat from your system!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
