    TTC girl with just supplements

    Hi ladies

Has anyone tried to conceive a girl just with supplements and vitamins instead of adjusting their diet?

Im wondering if this would be enough?

    Currently im taking daily

    - Calcium
    - Magnesium
    - Elevit with iodine
    - Cranberry

    My DH is taking

    - Calcium
    - Magnesium
    - Cranberry
and also he normally takes these ones anyway
    - Multivitamin
    - Vitamin C

Do you think there is any chance we might have a girl using the above only? Im quite thin (46kg) and about 160 cm (i think) so I worry that going on the diet will only make me thinner and i cant have that as being underweight might stop me from TTC all together.

Im still on Yaz birth control and planning to come off it in August and just give it a go! No timing or anything as I wont know when my cycle is because ive been on the pill for a few years and i choose to miss the white pills and skip my cycle all together.

Ive heard coming off the pill and TTC in the first month may sway girl?

Any other suggestions I would really appreciate, as I really want a girl and the diet seems really quite hard for skinny me!

    Thanks!

It's always possible but you pee out most supplements. Swaying is about change. Without change, one cannot expect a change.

It is ALWAYS possible to conceive a child of either gender altho you can be more "set" for one over the other (there is a girl in the Czech Republic currently pregnant with naturally conceived quintuplets, 4 boys and 1 girl)

Personally, I would not be taking the supps you're taking if you want to conceive a girl. I believe some of them sway blue and if you're going to rely on supps, I wouldn't rely on those.

YOu can totally do diet and not lose any weight. If you increase intake of carbs and cut fat and go vegetarian, that's still doing diet and it will help your sway.

Coming off the BCP does seem to sway pink, so I hope you can get pg that first month out!!

Do you know how long most women are on the pills when it sways pink? I will have been on it for 7 months before I stop bc to ttc. I was taken off of the IUD in April. If you don't know I totally understand. I was just wondering TIA

Oh and I have seen the anti-androgen bc pills well I have read about them on here that they help sway pink. Is there a list of the brands or something? I have a doctors appointment in a month and I would love to talk to her about it.Possibly even switching because I hate the pills I am using now.

DS2 is the product of a failed Supps only sway. Exactly the Supps you mentioned. Clearly, it didn't work. He is All Boy!

QOTD, were you testing your PH? Were you giving DH any supplements?
Anything else that might have helped sway boy?

My current pregnancy was a supplement only sway. Maybe a tad diet but I usually skip breakfast anyway because of my toddler.
After losses I just wanted to be pregnant but this was my last chance so wanted a shot at a girl... Will find out in 12 days if it is a
I have 100% girly nub guesses so far...

DH was taking a multi vitamin.

I was taking exactly the Supps you listed.

In hindsight, I had a very 'boy' diet and eating pattern when I fell pregnant with both of my boys. Always ate regular meals including breakfast and snacks. I had a fast metabolism and took full advantage of it!

    I exercised moderately, cardio though.

DH exercised moderately, some cardio but mostly weight training, and therefore muscle building.

This time around my DH s exercise was cardio and frequent. I was a couch potato.

I am currently 9 weeks pregnant with DC3. I swayed very differently this time. You can see my sway in the Girl sways section. DS2 is the joy in my day and I wouldn't change him for the world, but I really hope this sway is successful as its my last chance at a DD. I really feel like I did everything I could this time so have no regrets regardless of the sex of this child. If its a 3rd boy then it really was meant to be!
