Someone tell me I am crazy (DTD Timing)

July 28th is my projected Ovulation date for when we want to start TTC. I have this stupid thought that keeps popping up in my head that if I do O-3 O-1 and O that when my egg gets there the O-3 sperm are going to be what fertilizes my egg and that sperm is going to be older and it's going to be all girl sperm because the boys are going to die. (I know that's stupid right?) Should I just buck up and do it O-3 anyways or just forget about O-3 and just have DH abstain for 4 days before O-1 and just do it O-1 and O?! This is the biggest hang up I have with my sway plan. Any input I would greatly appreciate :/ (I hope stress is good for a boy sway because I have A LOT of it!!!)

I think after reading many things on this site, I think male and female sperm live the same amount of time. It may also depend on the hostility or friendliness of your uterus as well though. You have brought up a good question though, hopefully there will be more answers for you.

Yes, Shettles is totally debunked and there is nothing about XX and XY spermies that would cause one or the other to die off sooner.

If it is going to haunt you forever then skip the o-3 attempt but the idea that girl sperm live longer has been totally debunked.

I am on kindle and can't post links but please read the trouble with timing essay and also the what are the real difference between x and y sperm essay. Some of us boy moms have 2-3-4-5-6 boys conceived from shettles timing

Fear not - timing does not sway one way or another. Good luck and sending you lots of blue dust.
