    Low BP and aspirin/cranberry

My blood pressure tends to be on the lower side, and I've had issues with it before. I was induced for labor with my first child, it was like 80/40, very very low. Pregnancy seems to make it worse for some reason. Should I stay away from aspirin? My DH also tends to have blood pressure on the lower side, although he's never had the issues I've had.

I have naturally lower BP too (contrary to popular belief) and I took baby aspirin for my sway. Mine tends to be like, 106/68ish most of the time. You may want to run it by your doctor before you start taking aspirin for your sway. Now that I'm pg I'm not taking it, and I stopped taking it the day after DH and I BDed. I've been ok and my blood pressure seems OK too.

There is a mild link with low BP and aspirin but it's really not the levels of aspirin we are using. Start off slow 2x a week and go from there.

no that's GOOD if you have low blood pressure!!! People with low blood pressure actually can faint on a low sodium diet because their BP drops super low and makes them lightheaded.

I got my 4th boy while limiting sodium and then got DD without limiting it at all.
