Help me choose my BD days please

So my estimated ovulation is Aug 28th. What days do you think would be best for ttc boy? I know the common practice seems to be 3 days before then 1 then on O. So for me would that be the 25th then the 27th and then the 28th? Or am I not counting days right? Also is there a suggested time of day to BD? I was thinking late night for the 25th for sure but I wasn't sure about time of day for the other two days. Any suggestions?

I would have you DTD on the 26th, 27 2 times if you can, and 28th BUT you have to be having DH do regular release before that. What you don't want to do is have sex also on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, and THEN do what I just outlined there. It's fine to have attempts on 3 consecutive days, but you shouldn't have attempts for many days leading into your fertile window opening, DH will ahve nothing left.

Time of day is irrelevant. Whatever works for you.

We have been doing the release 2-4 days for at least 2 months now. Should he not release for like 4-5 days before we start our crucial TTC days to help build up some supply? And were you saying that we should BD 2x on the 27th which would make a total of 4 attempts in 3 days? If so all of that makes sense and I am going to mark it in my phone.

Every 2-4 days is fine. He doesn't need to save it up, he just needs to avoid DTD back to back for several days in a row EXCEPT for when the fertile window is open.
