I normally have dry skin, have never considered myself someone with oily skin. Almost never have pimples or anything like that. I feel like since the LE Diet my forehead has gotten more oily although I'm not really breaking out. I thought the LE Diet made our skin really dry, and that oily skin/pimples were a sign of high testosterone?! Now I'm scared.. is the diet doing the opposite? I literally always stay under the protein restrictions and am not working out at all. Thoughts?

LE Diet, now oily skin?!?

Nah, it's the diet. A lot of ladies notice zits and stuff on the LE diet, don't worry about it.
Acne as a T sign is more on the neck/chest/jawline then face anyways.
And if it's winter where you are turning on the heat can dry out your skin, which ironically actually creates overproduction of oils and clogged pores leading to breakouts.Me (38) and DH (38)

Dry skin if not exfoliated can cause acne as the skin can get trapped in pores. Another thing is on LE you are cutting out major nutrients and just as those nutrients increase fertility, they also improve a host of things in the body and skin. Don't worry about raised T unless you are showing other multiple signs.

oh okay, no I've never had acne near my jaw line or anything.. just heard people talking about their skin improving on the diet and I felt like mine was getting more oily! Oh well..shows that because of the diet things are obviously changing even though it's only been 3 weeks which is good I guess! Hopefully means we're entering more girly territory

Hormones can take a bit of time to change, so I'm not totally sure if 3 weeks is enough time to see a dramatic change. I'm not doubting that your skin is oilier, just that I wonder if it could be a coincidence - the cold weather can make your skin start to produce more oil as a protectant.
Do you have any reason to believe you could have PCOS or insulin resistance? If so, a diet high in carbs may not be best for you.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

No, I don't have any of those issues. I just kind of freaked and assumed I have high T due to having both boys. I've also always (since I was in elementary school because kids made fun of it) had quite hairy arms. I have been told it's a family thing as my sister also has them (she had a boy then girl.. but her arms aren't as bad as mine) and apparently it was a trait on my mom's side of the fam.
I guess after reading one of the threads I just started assuming, so now I'm worried about T levels as that's not something you can't easily change.

Body hair is mostly genetic. I don't have much body hair and have what feels today like 700 boys and the hairiest lady I know (not unlike Robin Williams LOL) has a girl.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I've always heard that acne breakouts on the forehead means you're not drinking enough water. There's a video on YouTube about it..."What Your Acne Is Telling You" that gives really interesting info about why you breakout where.

I've been getting oily skin too, mainly the sides of my nose with the odd pimple in the same area and had been wondering too. This only seems to happen to me when the weather is hotter. Normally have quite dry skin.
Wondering if the hotter weather increases testosterone hence the majority of babies of the same gender are born over the more wintery/cool months...

Ahh I noticed this too today, greasier skin and breaking out. It's been 8 years since I had a break out, it's like being a teen again. I wasnt sure what was going on either with my LE diet and my supplements.
