Can you help i had a scan to tell me im having a girl but midwifes are conviced its a boy due to the heartbeat and im now confused as i wont know till i give birth dd 11th march 2014. So for a little fun i thought id try this thanks

If you've been told your having a girl, then you are, they are so stupid for telling you otherwise especially with the heart beat.

Heartbeats? Ask them if they do the ring test. Seriously. Go with the scans!

Heartbeat is not reliable and ultrasounds are. My daughter had the slowest heartrate of any of my 5.
Personally, I'd consider finding new medical support because if they believe an old wives' tale over something that is scientifically proven to be much more accurate, I would worry about the other information they were giving to me. (my 2 cents unwanted and unasked for!)

I was thinking the same thing! Why in the world would a midwife believe in an old wives tale & tell you it's a boy based on that??? Go with your scan
