DH hijacked my sway (TMI involved)

So as those of you who know me know...my husband is not REALLY on board about having another baby...it takes a little blackmail when the subject comes up...and then he says yes and then we don't discuss it again until something comes up...long story short I went to get my kits today because I have been having (TMI) cm and low and behold I had a faint line SOOOOO I say to DH tonight is the night (we never have sex, we do it maybe three times a month so he always knows to avoid my week so there was no point in trying to trick him) he says he doesn't want to. I say I understand (I don't want to force him that is depressing) he follows me upstairs and next thing you know we are having our attempt... NO ANTHEHISTIMINE people I have to take what I could get....AND he pulled out halfway (MORE TMI SO SORRY) that I'm surprised there was any spermies to make it but there was....I just kind of feel like I am trapped between wanting to sway and a husband who wants to feel like it is an accident. UGGHGHGHGHGHG!!!! Plus I think being like this five minutes before BD is not going to relax me for this Dude is on my last.

Well I feel so stupid. We talked last night going to sleep and I told him about my post pretty much all of it and he said that he thought that WAS an attempt. I need to accept that fact that DH is NOT a believer in swaying. He doesn't want to think about the implications of a fourth so if I am going to get him to participate it can't be so obvious. Anyways sorry for the TMI earlier I was so embarassed that I wrote that!!!

Don't be silly, all of us swayers have been through the same or similar during months of attempts! Hoping you and dh can get on track with it together as it makes it so stressful otherwise.

Thank you Deaks!!! I needed that reply so much I was starting to feel like I had farted near the popular table in high school! I feel like our talk last night was so positive. He wants me to be happy and I am but I have wanted this now for two years and I think he realizes it's not going to just go away! Happy and Healthy pregancy to your little bean Deaks!

ha ha no worries! Sounds like he is being supportive. Im not sure there are that many dh's who would actually get that involved with the swaying... most seem to just do the bit when required and don't want to know tmi about it all. Mine was certainly like that and would much preferred to have conceived our little bean under more fun circumstances rather than me prodding, poking, timing, testing etc. Thanks for the well wishes!

We tried swaying for 3 years (back 12 years ago, before the forums, we had a book, and did everything by the book!) to the point where it was no longer fun, so I feel for you

Besides, if you REALLY wanted to trick him and I threaten hubby with this one all the time (LOL), most men are HUGE fans of bj's and I keep telling him I'm gonna save it in an ice**** and use it to get preggers on my own if he's not careful!!! (does that even work??? lol)

Even though we have to go HT for ours, I'm convinced it will be our luck to have it happen naturally and unexpectedly, so we had the talk last week about pulling and praying from now on, no excuses!!!

Good luck on your efforts. My hubby is also sick of hearing "babies this, boys that" etc... and I'm starting to feel that I have to not give him the rope to hang himself

PP--you are hilarious!! I feel the same way about my dh. Why do they have to be so difficult!? In any case, I think at times, we just have to take what we can get.

Hey, an attempt is an attempt! Remember, people get pg with girls every day without swaying.

I got my DD with a lot less of a sway than I got my DS with!

I was just driving today thinking about how it really was the best I could do. I can't ask him to shower or wear ball-smushing undies because in his mind it has to be an "accident" ...so you know what exactly Atomic an attempt is an attempt and if I don't get preggo I aint never gonna make a girl...whew I feel better now turns out the "popular table" was some dorks who really get me. Thanks!
