I am working on my sway plan and with the recent statistics I know that exercise is something I would like to incorporate. My only problem is I don't really know what to do for exercise! I have a 4 year old and 3 month old baby and am a SAHM. I would love to be able to go for a run, but just can't figure out when I would go. My husband has to be at work at 7am so I would need to wake up at 5:30 to go for a 1 hour run. My youngest has recently started waking up at 3am and 5am to eat so getting up that early is not ideal, not to mention I am usually feeding him between 5 and 6 anyway. I could run at night after they are in bed but I am afraid that would make it hard for me to fall asleep, a problem I already have as it is and that is the only time me and my husband have together to do "other things" lol. I wish I could put them in a stroller and do it during the day but I live off of a fairly busy road and am not really comfortable with being out during the day alone for safety reasons. I could always get a bicycle and treadmill machine and just workout in the garage everyday but that seems so repetitive and boring that I would want it to be my last resort. To the others that are exercising, what do you do? Are there any workout videos that you recommend that would give me an hour of cardio? I could do something like that in my living room while the kiddos nap.

I do zumba on the Xbox kinnect for over an hour every day, a zumba video would work too, it's a good intense workout and I usually do mine either when my 5 year old is at school and my two year old is down for his nap or after they go to bed. It does make it difficult to sleep at night but if I wake up early enough in the morning it doesn't matter. Plus, I hear little sleep sways pink too.

I like Walk Away the Pounds for pink swayers. it's easy to learn and you don't have to have a ton of space to do it. Zumba also good (I was always too big a spazz to pull off the Zumba - kinda like Gloria the hippo dancing LOL)

I plan to do the exercise bike and or treadmill 2-3 days a week for the first couple weeks as I NEVER exercise. I will then incorporate exercise at home so I have 4-5 days of exercise. The month before ttc, so starting in March I plan to have 1 hour a day 6-7 days a week. This will include the gym with the bike and such and home the other days...not sure what I will do at home yet though.
Anyone think this sounds okay?!DS 12008

I just started going back to the gym, the stats are too convincing to ignore, right? I have 2 cardio classes that I like to go to-Zumba and Soul Grooves-lots of squats, jumps and bottom shaking, about 700 cal or more out of my poor body. So 4 Day classes, 2 days on the treadmill and the Stepmaster-my heart gets to 170 b/m. If that's not enough, I don't know what is...I'm staying away from biking, because I've noticed lots of those ladies that do that have muscle legs and I don't like it for myself. I guess, I'm lucky that going to the gym is not a total shocker on my body since I was already doing cardio twice a week. What I like about exercise is that I'm not hungry afterwards.

I do also so cardio at home. My favourite site at the moment ist this one living room cardio exercises. But you can also have a look at fitnessblender youtube videos. They made some 1000 calorie workouts for at home. The videos are about 60 to 90 minutes in length.
