Anyone else experienced this?
After 2 doses of Clomid this week, my eyes started hurting yesterday. Sort of like a dull ache that grew as the day wore on. At first I thought it was just being tired and eye strain from being on the computer all day (very similar feeling). It wasn’t until I was getting ready to take dose #3 before bed that it dawned on me it might be Clomid related. I did some googling and, sure enough, a few people have complained of this as a side effect. Anyone else experienced this?

eye pain on Clomid?

yes one person did and it means you are probably not going to be able to use Clomid in your sway, I'm sorry!! Some doctors will allow you to continue but if you don't absolutely need it in order to get pregnant, I just don't think it's worth any level of risk because even Clomid is not a magic bullet. IF you kept taking it, it can cause vision problems that are permanent and you cannot take the risk. Call doctor right away if it doesn't get better because they may need to give you some steroids to help it get better.

You have to get off the clomid right away...I woman I cycled with had this exact same thing and it can be serious...your doc will likely not let you continue to take it. What about Femara?

Okay, thanks. That's what I feared. :/ I won't take any more doses. I did get some dry-eyes drops at the drug store today that are helping, as well as sitting in a dark room. If they don't feel like they're improving by tomorrow morning, I'll call my doc. The discomfort isn't super severe, but the word "permanent" is scary.
Does Femara sway pink like Clomid? To be honest, that's 90% of the reason I'm using it. So, I may just give dtd a go this cycle using some other sway tactics and see how things shake out. I have to assume if the Clomid is freaking my body out, this isn't the way to get my girl. Bummer. But clearly lots of women have girls without it.

Unfortunately Femara is ~probably~ not as pink friendly as Clomid but honestly, we don't know and not enough people have taken Femara for me to be able to say based on my experience either.
I answered this via private forum already but for anyone now wondering, my recommendation is to proceed with TTC this month WITHOUT going too overboard with other sway tactics, but keepign one attempt, with the goal of hopefully conceiving this month with Clomid and one attempt working for us.!!!
