Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

I made some big changes. I skipped breakfast every day, and in the rare times I did eat earlier than noon, I still had a 14 hour fast at least. Avoided healthy fats and supplements, juices, meat etc. as much as possible. I also drank diet drinks and I never ever drank those at all. Over time as I learned about the "Mary/Martha" concept, I stopped tracking calories because I was always within 1500-1800 calories.

If diet was used, length of time before attempt?

11 weeks (started end of February).

Yes

Did DH change his diet with you?

Yes

Comments regarding DH's diet-

He didn't make dramatic changes, but he did substitute chicken for red meat, drank diet coke with me, etc.

DId you consume alcohol?

DId you try to limit caffeine?

No, I did not factor that into my sway

Any Diet Details?

I think I over thought the diet at the beginning, being hat it was such a huge change for me. Towards getting closer to attempt, I tried to have a more relaxed attitude about it and not stress about it as much, although I still tried to stay within guidelines.

I don't weigh myself but lost weight obviously.

Couldn't keep up with recommended exercise routine so I was a couch potato.

Chose not to jump and dump in favor of getting pregnant. We did use antihistamines and sylk, and I took a hot shower before attempt.

I don't believe in them but I did buy a rock salt lamp and used it as a night light in my son's room...it was on sale

No

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

I was more relaxed, prayed a lot- our whole family has been praying for a daughter and I believe God answers prayer, even little ones like this one. I feel like I put the effort and research into it. Everything God does can be proved by science so I felt good about swaying.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

I was not "hard core" about it. I tried to be as much of a "Martha" as I could and relax and just trust The Lord with his plans for my family dynamic. I might have had a more sure "result" if I added exercise and paid more careful attention to diet totals.

Things worth mentioning:

I'm happy either way. I deeply desire a daughter, but my boys are my whole world and a third boy would be a gift and a joy.
