Trying to make sense of my blood test results

I had the 21 day blood test in Nov. It was 100% 7 days after I ovd. All my doc said at the time was I 'possibly' ovd. I git a print out today as I go to gyne soon and was collecting my info. My resukt showed 18.6. Now when I look this up ov needs to be over 30 to be confirmed. Not sure now as to what will happen x

    18.6 is great

After ovulation, progesterone levels should be greater than 10 to 12 ng/ml to have a better chance of a good pregnancy outcome.

See this is why I am confused. Not sure if results are read differently in UK but all I can find is above 30 means you ovulated, below 30 means you've not. 50+ means healthy fertile female. My doc didnt say it was great she said it was v low and she wanted it higher. Will see what the specialist says x

I would guess you did O but it was what they call 'weak' O, meaning suboptimal progesterone production (obviously) and possibly poor egg quality. The latter is more of a theory to my knowledge. Fortunately, clomid can help with both issues so it's potentially very easily fixed. I hope your dr suggests some good options.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Sometimes the results are just weird and then other times there is human error involved and the results are inconclusive. So it's hard to say. I had a swayer go into NYU to have bloodwork done (v. prestigious) and was told that she hadn't ovulated, wasn't going to ovulate any time soon, and was menopausal and they began pushing her to start IVF with donor eggs because she had no chance of conception with her own eggs. She was actually PREGNANT and delivered a healthy baby girl 9 months later. They just happened to time the bloodwork at a point where it came back with strange results.

What I do want you to understand is that a result in November, is really not meaningful to NOW. Cycles are funny things and we all have oddball ones from time to time. If your new OB takes the results from November to be of serious import and begins planning a course of action based upon them, I would seek a second opinion.
