Hi ladies! I was wondering about ole? I read that it improves sperm quality but I thought we were trying to do the opposite for ttc girl? How does that work?
Also..I love cereal! And I know people stay away from it on the le diet..but if its a sugary, bad for you kind of cereal is that ok?
Thank you!!

We're not trying to decrease sperm quality, but sperm count. Not sure how ole sways pink tho.. Maybe it decreases speed count even though it increases quality? I think atomic said not to take it with cranberry so maybe it's a blood thinner and affects ph?

Cereal seems to be the #1 boy mom food, and so a lot of us have chosen to avoid it for that reason. Even the sugary ones have a lot of added vitamins and minerals fortified in them, but I'm sure you could work in an occasional bowl here and there, as long as you're sticking to the fat, protein and calories of LE. There are NO forbidden foods.

God's honest truth - we "know" .001% of how swaying actually works. That we needed to lower sperm health is one theory with some evidence in support of it. We actually don't honestly KNOW that OLE really improves sperm health either, we think that it does but we just arent' sure. So since we've seen some positive results with the OLE and it seems safer than cranberry for older guys, we're experimenting with it for now. But I don't know how it works and nor do I claim to!
No cereal on LE Diet. The best designed study ever done on diet and swaying found a clear cut difference between cereal intake of all kinds. Again, this is not something we know why it is, but it's the closest thing to a "magic food" out there. I think it's because all cereal is highly fortified, it's typically eaten at breakfast or as a snack (which are blue-friendly) and it's protein and carbs together.!!! It's LR or peppermint tea, then cranberry or OLE. You can have mix and match between the two groups but don't do both things in the groups (hope that makes sense.)
