Skipped breakfast all bar a handful of times.
No meat, fish v occasionally.

DH reduced eggs nearer attempts.
Already a vegetarian. Had less fat due to sharing the same meals.

No, I drink caffeine regularly

Any Diet Details?

Rice cakes and weight watchers tomato soups were my regular lunch. Tended to save a large proportion of my calories for dinner so I didn't feel left out at dinner. Also meant I had pudding nearly all the time!!

Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?

As I started it a long way from first attempt I found my will power diminishing. It was good for weight loss but I think I should have waited until nearer the time to start following the rules.

Found it difficult to read opk's so we ended up bd on evening of 2nd positive day. Opk was negative. We also bd 4 days earlier than 1st positive (didn't attempt at first positive as didn't realise it was positive!). Think that makes it only one attempt.

Dh drank pure cranberry juice near attempt. He also drank peppermint tea sometimes (usual for him).
LR - dh sometimes forgot to take the tablet so probably averaged 2 x 400mg a day AF-O

I didn't always remember to take fibre. Mostly I took it after a meal not before. Possibly did no good!

Didn't look into it.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

The amount of weight I lost.

That although my will power faded a lot, I feel I did my best, given the length of time I was on LE.
After a while I stopped working out my daily intake. I did it roughly in my head for calories, tried to have low fat as much as possible and not have too much protein. I stopped worrying about sodium very early on. I think my non logging helped me to be relaxed about it and less obsessed which is my natural tendency.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

My lack of will power towards starting ttc. It wasn't the calories as such (although plenty of times I went over, especially during and after the first 2ww), it was more the feeling of restriction. The mental side of things.

I wish I had found out about ole for dh sooner. He didn't end up taking any.

Things worth mentioning:

I still breastfeed once a day. Hopefully that may go in my favour.

Totally shocked that given the circumstances around our attempt, it ended with a bfp. I'm hoping that whether we conceived based on bd 4 days before first positive or sometime after first positive it will sway pink.

This process has helped me to accept that I can't control the outcome. I was convincing myself that at my age I was unlikely to get pregnant so to have had that happen I am very grateful.
