    +OPK, right?

Hello everyone, this is only my second cycle doing OPKs and I felt like my O was coming up anyway but this is a positive right?

I took one late am and the clear blue was neg

Last month I got a pos OPK and it went away very fast.

I'm a little nervous that I will be DTD a little early to get preg this month if I DTD in a couple hours from now (it is 2pm my time and we will DTD maybe around 8:30pm plus or minus and hour or two).

    Help!

I would DTD ASAP. Ovulation can come and go very quickly (sometimes within a few hours) so is best to try as soon as you get a line. Sperm should hang around for a few days so you'll be covered. Hoping you catch that egg!

Good luck with your attempt! Sperm can live several days so I wouldn't worry about dtd too early. I'd only worry about dtd too late! You want the sperm already in the fallopian tubes (which can take up to 12 hours) and waiting when the egg is released.

You don't want to dtd on O day as by the time the sperm reach where they need to go the egg could already have died. The highest rates of pregnancy occur when dtd 1 or 2 days before ovulation.

You can O up to 48 hours AFTER your +OPK.

Thanks everyone! FX I didn't mess things up too badly with this sway. I totally cheated on LE yesterday bc I wasn't feeling great (ate way before lunch time, ate red meat, nothing jumped when I dumped, lol, only used rephresh once since AF and that was Thursday of last week). I have no idea why I couldn't hold it together better when I knew O was coming....Grrrr.
