So no one at all (except you beautiful people on here) know that were TTC let alone swaying but people have noticed our diet changes and also the fact that DH has lost so much weight (not intentionally but being on LE it's just falling off - won't fall off me though 😠and have started asking questions.
One ex client of mine (I used to be a PT) text me last night wanting me to write down what diet my DH is following and people who work with him have asked to.
Now being a PT and health coach I can't tell people that were eating low protein, increased carbs, diet drinks, pop tarts, alcohol and artificial sweeteners while cutting down on nutrients!!??! They'd think I'd gone mad and I don't want to encourage a diet that's not at all like I'd recommend to clients. It's so funny though!! My DH said they'd probably love a diet I give them with poptarts and alcohol and high in empty carbs! Lol!! 😜

July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

I always wondered when I was planning on swaying what you would say if people asked since I have never been on a diet of any kind before.

Oh that is kind of funny... guess you could tell people he is eating everything in moderation but that it doesn't work for everyone??? Glad DH is loosing weight. I gain weight eating like crap (refined carbs) no matter how little I eat unless I practically starve myself!!

I have told people that I decided to go vegetarian monday to thursday because I realised how much meat and animal protein I was eating every day. this isnt that far off the truth. A friend of mine (gay male so not TTC!!!) has also been vegetarian for almost a year and the weight dropped off him so it is totally plausible that just by cutting out animal protein/going veggie is the reason. I also told people that I realised I was eating 50% of cals from fat (I was) and I decided to go down to 30% of cals from fat. Some of my friends know the truth and they think that its so bizarre I have lost weight on a high carb diet lol!
Loads of people have asked how Ive lost weight but they just accept I have a DS to run around after, plus they know I go to the gym.
My DH wont do the diet so his weight hasnt changed but if it did I would tell him to say the same thing - cut out animal protein and cut down on fat in general.

Several of us did so well on LE diet that we went back to it as a weight loss diet.
IT's just calories in, calories out, and discipline. For some of us I think LE is easier to stick to because we can have foods we like and just watch portion size. I think the overnight fasting helps too because it improves insulin resistnace. I think the "diet industry" has gotten so caught up in magic foods themselves that they have lost sight of what really works for people. I can't lose weight eating chicken breasts and grapefruit, I don't LIKE them. But I can eat smaller portions of stuff I do like.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
