It looks like we will still be TTC at Christmas.
I have now dropped all sway tactics except diet, and I can see that won't be strict over the celebration period!
We have family staying, and it's likely I will eat breakfast most days, snack during the day and evening, and go way over on calories and fat every day.
This is likely for about 2 weeks, shortly after ovulation, so won't affect our next attempt in December, but will it probably sway boy for me for our January attempt?

Christmas
Just a suggestion....maybe you could try and avoid snacking. When I had family over they did not notice when I did not snack, but they did notice if I skipped a meal. I would try and eat smaller portions at meal times with no snacks.

How strongly do you want a girl? Will you mind hearing boy? I mean I'm not trying to be rude but it sounds like you aren't really swaying at all? Now if you don't really care or want to do a super super laid back sway that is awesome and obviously fine
But if you are still trying to sway then I would not do breakfast- just drink a coffee or put a very small amount on your plate- family normally does not pick up on this. Don't snack! (Family won't notice this either) and taker smaller portions and try to fill up more on the veggie side of things. That is what I would do or I would skip TTC in January. I also had a few weeks where I wasn't swaying strongly but then I wasn't TTC the next month/cycle. Good luck on whatever you decide!

Yes, it's me wanting the best of both again!
Of course, I still really want a girl, but as time goes on, getting pregnant at all is becoming more important than gender.
I won't skip a cycle trying as I'm desperate to conceive.
I was hoping that after 6 months on the diet and 42lb weight loss, a couple if weeks off might not matter too much.
I could stick with smaller portions and not snack, and could probably skip breakfast a few days a week, but I'd still be well over on calories and fat, and I'm sure to gain a little weight.

Just do the best you can and hope for the best! And remember people get girls without swaying at all

Actually are the girl sway outcomes for August/September (conceived during X-mas-time) worse that the other months? Because it is so hard to stay strong during this time of the year.

When you're in this type of situation, just do what you can do and then let go of the rest.
You may actually be surprised as many of us have found it easier than we imagine to stick to most principles of diet, sometimes it is that we have choices that still feel "special" because of the holidays, so we have things that feel like treats even though we're sticking to diet pretty well overall.
Overall limits are what matters - no magic foods!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

The holidays are super tough because there is so much yummy food..everywhere!! I really enjoyed Thanksgiving food but it is weird that I actually felt a little better getting back on the diet. I am doing the atomic fertility so it is a bit different than regular LE. I have been sneaking in some goodies though but just not going overboard.

Yeah I have to admit that I totally thought I would just LOVE being off the diet (and I did love the steak I had for dinner, I won't lie) BUT I'm still normally skipping breakfast, not snacking much, and eating a bit less- it just feels more comfortable at this point. You might be surprised how easy it is to stick to some of it
