Here's a thought.... Sorry if this was posted before or even something similar...
I was wondering if anyone has been doing most of the LE diet.. No meat, only 2-3 meals per day, sweets to crash your blood sugar, & no large meals.. But not counting any totals? I'm thinking about doing that for the next 5 weeks until our attempt. Would that still be okay to be considered LE or do I have to count totals? I'm not saying id be eating a chocolate cake everyday or anything bad like that.. But just to stop counting totals of fat & protein especially would make me feel better. But I also really want this to work. Just wondering if anyone has done this and have it work or if anyone is currently doing this? I guess I keep forgetting that a lot of people don't even sway at all and get both genders lol.

I'm sure it would still be ok and taking the stress out of counting everything would be good for pink too. As long as you watched portion sizes and stayed away from high protein, high fat foods you would probably be at the totals anyway without counting. You'd also just have to make sure you were eating enough too though. 👍

I did that with all of my girls. Just ate 2-3 small meals a day and replaced candy bars for meals. Never counted anything and I am 3 for 3 on girls LOL I had no idea I was swaying though. Good luck!

I kept track of everything for my first attempt (on attempt 3 now), but now I pretty much know how much things are and how to stay within limits. I only eat 2 meals total a day and my lunch is pretty much the same thing every day. My lunch is around 550 calories, which gives me a little more leeway with dinner. My lunch is always vegetarian, but my dinner often has chicken, pork, or white fish (about a 1/2 cup max keeps me within protein totals).

I did that. I counted at first and later on just went by gut feeling. I'd prob go over sometimes but was under sometimes too. I didn't lose weight when counting and the month I concieved i dropped another pound! hopefully it was good!

Yes, it is still ok. People think they have to do everything or they may as well do nothing, but that isn't the case. Even if you only change ONE litle thing, it's still a sway and still counts.
The tracking is really more to make sure people are getting ENOUGH food anyway. So as long as you're sure you're getting enough, if you don't want to track it, then don't! I didn't after a couple of weeks.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I've used MFP for weight loss for years. I had to manually change my fat and protein
goals while I learn what foods work and what doesn't fit. I weigh in weekly- no more to avoid obsessing. Once I have it down I probably won't use it, but then maybe I will just bc I always have, so in that regard it's more second nature than an obsession.

I didn't count totals. I did for the first month but realized I was always within limits so I stopped counting the next two months before I got pregnant. It was stressing me out to much to record every little thing.

I didn't count. I just ate less fat and less protein and less calories than before. Smaller portions, meat only twice a week, no snacking, only low fat treats.
Before I started doing it this way I checked the numbers on some of my favorites so I would know...man I had to avoid all my favorite treats like dairy queen and cinnabon. LolDS 12008
