DH and I have no known fertility issues. As far as we know, we would have no problems getting PG. We are exploring the possibility of going HT for gender. Should we figure on it taking multiple tries, even with no known fertility issues? Or are most couples in our position successful the first time? How many times would you say you should figure on going through the whole process (egg retrieval is the worst part, right?)?

Probably 2. It depends on age, clinic choice and your pretesting.

Mine is a 1st time success, although I read that it often takes more than one attempt. but it can happen we only had 1 normal girl embryo to use.
I am 33 DH is 44 and we have 5 boys all conceived easily naturally.
