    So ions dont sway right?

I get af during the full moon and ovulate during new moon. So for me to conceive a boy it would be during a new moon, which is opposite of what would be ideal. I know most think the moon phases dont matter but I cant help but feel if I have a girl I would blame that. What do you ladies think? Do the moon phases have a part in swaying in your opinion?

I think its one of those things, It can't hurt, It COULD help but there is not loads of research to prove it factual. So if you want to do it just so you can say you covered every base and it relaxes you more during your sway I say go for it! In your case don't even worry about it. If theres a cycle where you might catch it right then give it your all otherwise pffft! Good luck!

Ions don't sway, they cannot sway, because X and Y sperm DO NOT have different electrical charges and that idea was 110% debunked. Furthermore, positive ions are harmful to health overall and should be avoided as much as possible for everyone. NO BLUE SWAYERS SHOULD EVER USE IONS FOR SWAYING. they are totally debunked for swaying and may harm your health and your children's health.

Moon phases are actually DIFFERENT than ions. Toss that old IG moon-ion stuff away and look at moonlight itself - that ~may~ signal your body to improve fertility a little bit if you ovulate with the full moon. higher fertility probably = more boys conceived. Is this a dealbreaker? No, of course not. You're doing all the right things to improve your fertility aside from the moon and that is what counts. I have a full explanation on this here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...naception.html

Think about it this way - if swaying works, it's almost certainly for a REASON and not some accident of creation. Most likely because higher fertility represents better maternal condition, better diet, etc and that makes boy babies more likely to survive to hand down their genes to future generations. Does it make ANY sense whatsoever that the moon, floating around so far far away, could have a stronger bearing on your child's gender than things like your diet and condition???

One more question atomic -- you dont think I should bother trying to reset ovulation to be during full moon? In september (1st month officially ttc) I will ovulate sometime between last quarter moon and new moon.

    Hi Ruby

I conceived DD2 on a full moon and spent like 3-4 months waiting on that to coincide with ovulation, as I was told boys are conceived on a full moon. Also had DH wait for 2 weeks so that for sure we concieved on that moon stage...
Bottom line: Atomic was proven correct (though I didn't know anything about swaying at that point), 14 days abstain=Girl and moon fase

It's up to you - my concern is that if you start messing aroudn with your cycle via nightlighting or anything similar, you run the risk of screwing up your cycle and wonky cycles do def. sway pink! So you'd have been better off just sticking with what you had going, if that makes any sense.

More than a few people have had their ovulations change due to swaying, so you may find you O early or later than normal and it will be academic anyway (TTC in Sept. is a bit soon for that to happen, though)
