Quantitative hcg test

Hi, so I'm getting negative HCGs at home on 10miu strip tests. Currently being checked for pcos but the doc wants to rule out pregnancy first so has asked me to provide a urine sample for a quantitative urine test. Is this any different to a normal pregnancy test and would it show a pregnancy even if home tests say no?

It's been 9 weeks since my last period, I'm shattered and feeling nauseous, but these could all be pcos symptoms too

It will give you a number- the amount of HCG in your system and yes, is more accurate than a home POAS test. They should check it with your blood though for a quantitative test.
