ttc boy - questions about ph testinh

Hi ladies,
I have two beautiful girls aged almost4 and 5.
We have finally decided to try for number 3 and
Both really really would love a boy.
Im fairly certain my ph is quite acidic and my diet favours
Girls. Also both conceived prior to O. So I have made changed to diet, vitamins etc
I have ph testing strips. My urine is around 6-6.25. I tried
Testinh my CM but the strip doesn't change. I do have very little
CM which i believe is dehydration lack of watet etc, and am changing that. My question is how do I test the ph properly?
Can it be urine? Or does it have to be CM? If so do I need special strips for that?

It has to be CM, having said that I was always very acidic no matter what I did. I finally stopped testing and focused on the HE diet, did weight training and used preseed during all my attempts and I got my boy. As soon as you start increasing your water intake and focusing on the diet you will see your CM start to change. Alot of women like to drink pineapple juice to increase their CM. I found that drinking green tea also helped to increase CM.

I got a boy with pH of 4.5!!! The lack of CM is much much more important than pH is, I agree with dloui that you should focus on improving overall fertility via HE Diet and allowing your body to make more CM! Preseed has also gotten great results for us.

Grapefruit juice is great for increasing CM. Also, guaifenesin (cough expectorant), like Mucinex.

Wow Atomic when you mentioned your ph of 4.5 I almost cried because I'm at Ph 4.5 too and I've been biting my nails in frustration for the past 3 months; even during O my ph is not changing. Also i'v tried everything but have had no luck in increased Cm I'm worried.
